RefineryRBD
A browser-based Monte Carlo reliability and financial simulator for refineries.
RefineryRBD models a refinery as a graph of process units, inventory buffers, and boundary sources and sinks, then runs a Monte Carlo simulation that translates reliability into the operational and financial language a planner can act on. Everything runs in your browser through a Web Worker: no backend, and no data leaves your machine. Cases persist locally and export to Excel or JSON.
Sweep availability and MTTR scenarios to see the mean EDC you can expect, find which units contribute most to cascade losses, and measure how much protection your inventory actually delivers. Two optimization layers go further: inventory capacity optimization sweeps each tank to find its financial optimum, and operating-level optimization finds the starting set points that maximize system EDC. Both detect when the response is flat and say so, rather than reporting noise as a recommendation.
Who it's for
Refinery engineers, reliability planners, and investment analysts who need defensible answers to questions like: what mean EDC can we expect at 97% availability with a 3-day MTTR? Which units drive the biggest cascade losses? How much inventory does a tank actually need to deliver the protection it claims? What is the dollar-per-year value of perfecting H2 redundancy?

Inspection Strategies
Turn a set of damage mechanisms into one consolidated inspection plan.
Inspection Strategies lets an inspector select the API 571 damage mechanisms that apply to an asset, then compares each mechanism's inspection strategy, finds where techniques overlap, and produces a single plan: which NDE techniques are required at which locations, at what coverage, to reach a target inspection confidence. It covers pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks, grounded in API 510, 570, 653, 580, and 581. Everything runs in your browser; nothing leaves your machine.
Confidence uses an API 581 style A to E inspection effectiveness grade shown alongside the underlying coverage and methods, and multiple lighter inspections can combine toward a higher effective grade. A supervisor mode edits the global strategy library and the tunable effectiveness rules. Plans export to PDF and Word.
Who it's for
Inspectors and inspection supervisors planning in-service inspection under API 510, 570, and 653, who need a fast, consistent way to consolidate overlapping damage-mechanism requirements into one coverage-and-method plan. The shipped mechanism library is a starting point for expert review, not certified data.

Personal Maintenance Tracker
Stay ahead of every repair, service, and inspection for everything you own.
iOS

Web login · soon
ReliaLife is a personal maintenance tracker for your whole life's worth of assets: your home, car, appliances, lawn and garden equipment, pets, aircraft, watercraft, firearms, and more. Add your assets, break them into components, and assign maintenance tasks to each one. Tasks can be driven by a time interval, a usage interval, or both, so reminders match how you actually use your things rather than a generic calendar.
A dashboard surfaces what is overdue, what is due soon, and what is coming on the horizon. Log completions with notes to build a full service history, and let notifications make sure nothing sneaks up on you. Light and dark mode included.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants their belongings to last: homeowners, car owners, hobbyists, and operators of equipment where missed maintenance is expensive or unsafe. Today it ships on iPhone; an Android app and a computer login are planned.

Weatherstation Höf
A passion project: a homemade Arduino weather station, live from my house.
Weatherstation Höf is a do-it-yourself Arduino weather station running at home, streaming its readings to a small live web dashboard. A lightweight serverless backend caches the latest measurements so the page stays quick to load.
Why it's here
Mostly for the fun of building it. It's a placeholder on this page while ReliaLife's core tools are in development, and it will likely drop off the list as those tools come online.
